*Seven anticipate defense of Ph.D. thesis by May 2020

**BD at UConn(2012-19) supported total of 39 students from 1 semester to 2 years (The total of 43 reflects the fact that some fellows' two years of support extended of two grant periods.) When a BD fellow finished an MS degree in one year and left, funding was freed up to select another student(s). For this reason we have more than 12 fellows in each cohort. The final total numbers of BD fellows supported so far is 39.
